Fact – spray tan/self tan will only last on your body as long as the skin cells that it’s been applied to stay put. So you want to get busy doing all the things you wouldn’t do if you wanted to keep your tan on. So think of activities/agents that will force your skin to regenerate itself, shed the tanned skin cells off, and leave fresh skin cells underneath to be retanned the right way!
1) Soak in a bath with an oily product. Any type of bath oil should do the trick. Soak in the bath for 20 minutes plus, and as warm as you can stand it. Before you get out of the bath, get a facecloth and use it like a loofa to exfoliate your skin. Hopefully your tan will want to leave your skin and head straight for the cloth. For stubborn tans try using the Custom Tan Exfoliating Mitt available for purchase on our site. Stay in the bath for as long as you can and try the Exfoliating Mitt to buff the skin cells away.
2) Can’t get in the bath – that’s ok. Lemon juice is a natural ingredient which can help to remove tandoori hands, and if you don’t care what you put on your skin try napisan – and failing that gumption!
